Power Transformers
TATL manufactures step-down Power Transformers from 10 MVA, 33 kV to 500 MVA, 400 kV with optimum losses and high efficiency, designed to IS 2026 and IEC 60076 standards, integrating OLTC and OCTC units from MR Germany and ABB Sweden, OIP and RIP/RIS bushings, and hot-dip galvanized radiators for long-term reliability.
Auto Transformers & Inter-Connecting Transformers (ICTs)
TATL’s Auto Transformers step down voltages such as 400 kV to 220 kV or 220 kV to 132 kV, using core-form construction with auto-connected windings, available in three-phase and single-phase configurations with OLTCs, serving as ICTs for linking voltage systems while offering reduced weight and lower cost than Power Transformers.
Generator Transformers (GSU Transformers)
TATL’s Generator Step-Up Transformers interface generation plants with the Transmission grid, stepping up generator-level voltage to ratings up to 220 kV for efficient evacuation under continuous near full-load conditions, available in single-phase and three-phase designs, ensuring strong dielectric performance, stable thermal behaviour and compliance with all national and international standards.
- GREEN ENERGY
Transformers for Renewable Energy
Transformers in renewable energy systems must handle intermittent inputs from wind and solar sources, requiring rapid response to wind-speed variations and sudden solar output drops to maintain grid stability. As projects expand into offshore wind farms and desert solar sites, TATL ensures reliable performance through corrosion-resistant materials and advanced cooling systems designed for extreme environmental conditions.
Highly efficient Transformers of TATL provides the user to maximize the utilization of generated power.
TATL Transformers can withstand harsh environmental conditions, such as high temperatures and humidity, prevalent in solar and wind power generation fields.
TATL Transformers can adapt to the fluctuations in energy output, ensuring grid stability.

- MOBILE SUBSTATIONS
Mobile Substations for Agile Power Readiness
Mobile substations offer a fast, adaptable solution for temporary grid support. Built as compact, self-contained units on trailers or skids, they enable swift voltage conversion and distribution during outages, maintenance activities, events, or capacity shortfalls, ensuring dependable continuity of power supply.
Mobile substations are engineered for quick installation and commissioning in locations where immediate power infrastructure is required. Mounted on transportable trailers, they integrate transformers, switchgear, and protection systems into a ready-to-use unit. With minimal site preparation and faster energization, utilities can quickly bring power online in areas where conventional substation construction would take months.
Mobile substations provide reliable electricity during temporary demand requirements such as infrastructure projects, large public events, seasonal load increases, or grid maintenance periods. They ensure uninterrupted power supply while permanent substations are being constructed, upgraded, or repaired, allowing utilities and industries to maintain operations without disruptions.
During equipment failures, natural disasters, or unexpected outages, mobile substations enable utilities to restore electricity rapidly. By replacing damaged or unavailable transformers and substation equipment, they reduce downtime and ensure that critical facilities such as hospitals, industries, and urban infrastructure continue receiving stable power.
Mobile substations help utilities temporarily increase transmission and distribution capacity in locations facing rapid load growth or land constraints. They provide a flexible solution for supporting industrial clusters, renewable energy integration, and expanding urban demand until permanent infrastructure is developed.
